Range War – Home On The Range

Back in 1985, with punk rock heading into a brief depression as bands were breaking up or changing their image entirely, Lee Ving, an accomplished musician prior to moving to Los Angeles and starting Fear, was already in the studio, quietly recording a country album for a band he wouldn’t even debut until 1987, much less release the record for another 30 after that. Yes, this record went unreleased for 32 years. If you dig the outlaws and honky-tonkers of country music, this record is for you; if you dig Fear, why not have this record, or are (your) children the only hell you may or may not raise? (I think I’m funny, it’s probably acceptable to think otherwise…”fuck you, let’s rodeo!”)
