Q/A

Q: I do not have a PayPal account, is there an alternative which I may use?
A: There are two ways about this. First, you can checkout through PayPal as a guest, as there is an option on there for that. Second, you can contact us directly about using an alternative such as Zelle or Venmo, and we can accommodate. PayPal is an invasive species, and does negate our profits entirely, but has made itself a "necessary evil," for lack of better terms, and we are working on sorting out a better payment method. Stripe is, for the most part, not much better, but we have added that as an option.

Q:
Do we ship outside the US?
A: Not currently, as international shipping rates currently make it unviable. But if you contact us, we can try to work something out or help find a distro in your region that has what you're looking for.

Q: Which shipping service do you use?
A: We pretty much exclusively go through USPS for all of out outgoing orders. The big three shipping providers are all subject to the exact same problems (speaking, literally, as someone with special knowledge of these things - also, yes, record mailers do get thrown around in the warehouses and sometimes end up burried under half a ton of other packages when put on trucks between facilities), but USPS has been reliable in getting our outgoing shipments to their respective destinations safely and in a timely manner. Furthermore, we do not deal with any non-union shipping providers...cough, FedEx, cough-cough!

Q: When will my order be shipped?
A: Seeing as how we do not do pre-orders, anything you order is in stock here will be shipped within one business day (Mon-Fri). We do not lollygag, all orders are pulled, packed, weighed, with a shipping label printed within mere hours of your order being placed, 7 days a week. Many orders, mostly those that come in before noon Mountain Standard Time, ship the same day. Caveats are that we obviously don't ship during weekends, postal holidays, or times when nobody is around to do all of the aforementioned (this will, of course be noted about, as it means we are indisposed because we are out of town).

Q: What are your shipping rates?
A: Click Here.

Q: What kind of mailers do you use?
A: The best we could find, spared no expense. We exclusively use Whiplash mailers for all of our 12" orders. They were not cheap, by any stretch of the imagination, but we felt they were crucial to ensuring your orders would arrive undamaged. On top of that, we make sure to put extra insurance on our orders, just in case.

Q: Can you remove the record from the jacket to avoid the risk of seam splitting?
A: With pleasure! While we will stand by our handling methods, we hate seam splitting with a passion, and will gladly remove or just cut open the shrink film, and put the vinyl and sleeve outside of the jacket. Just put it in the order notes, or send us a message with your order number.

Q: What do you do with my personal information?
A: Print a shipping label and hope you order from us again. We have the most cut and dry Privacy Policy ever written. The only person who ever sees your information is the person pulling the order and printing the shipping label, and the only information visible is limited to the packing slip and relevant shipping information. There is no amount of money which can convince us to let any other person see that information, which makes us far less invasive than the parasites that are Google and Meta.

Q: Why is the cost of (enter title here) one cent higher than the label?
A: Because we don't buy into that psychological trickery, which assumes that a person only looks at the whole number and sees that it is lower than another store, rather than note that the fractional is negligible. Rather, we try to stick with whole numbers, and aim lower if and when possible. When a title sits at $XX.99 we will oft round up the one cent unless the cost to bring said title in allows us to round down an entire 99 cents. Likewise, if a title is $XX.50 on the retail end, we will always round down the 50 cents, but this is all accounted for before taking in whatever title that may be, as the goal is to try and price fairly. In the case of titles in the $25+ range, there was no way to afford lowering the prices on those, and we probably only brought one or two copies in just to have them in the store for the algorithm.

Q: Why do you not have (insert popular release by popular band here), why do you not carry titles from (insert overpriced mainstream punk record label here), why don't you carry the "indie" variant of (insert currently available release)?
A: Because the wholesale cost is so high that it would be cheaper to give away money than to stock them, unless we raise the price to what the market will bear because it is forced to, not because it reflects the actual cost of putting out a record (We're looking at you, Epitaph). "Indie" designated variants are often distributed by the gentrifiers over at Record Store Day...ergo, we are unlikely to be able to bring in what they're selling, allowing them to go over to Meow Wolf after spending all day manufacturing scarcity and have a circle jerk about what a good thing they did by whitewashing culture. We make no apologies for this seemingly harsh opinion, and it's not libel if it takes something factual and makes fun of it to the point of absurdity, even if our comedy is drier than Ben Shapiro's wife.

Q: Can you get (insert desired release here)?
A: Message us, and we will see what we can do for you. As with the previous remarks about some wholesale costs being too high to justify, sometimes it's just not worth it.
